Digital education for community residents "Library - key to new opportunities"

In November - December 2025, the adult population of our community actively applied for "Winter Support" from the government and some faced a problem - registration through Diia and opening a "National Cashback" card. Elderly grandmothers and grandfathers could not register themselves and receive this assistance.
Many government (Diia), medical (Helsi) and financial services are going online. Without digital skills, a person spends days in queues where issues can be resolved in a minute. We constantly face such and similar digitalization problems, so the staff of the "S.V.Shevriakov Public Library" of Holovanivsk village council took the courage to help in such situations, teaching, conducting seminars and trainings on digital literacy. We ourselves underwent training and are ready to teach those willing. Our activities can be learned about on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1E9t37rM7r/
Our project aims to increase digital literacy levels by organizing free training courses on modern gadgets and laptops. Having a cozy, well-lit, warm hall where classes will be conducted.
Elderly people, unemployed, socially vulnerable population categories, residents of rural community territories and citizens who previously had no opportunity to master modern technologies need special support. For these categories and for all interested parties, classes with specialists will be held once a week.
We believe that our project will become a practical tool of daily support that library visitors will turn to for knowledge and support.
Each new digital skill is another step towards independence, confidence and new opportunities for the entire community.
