Become a wizard - give children with TB a miracle!

Resources of families with children being treated for tuberculosis are mostly directed to ensuring the most essential needs, such as enhanced nutrition, vitamins, diagnostics, etc. Meanwhile, numerous studies emphasize the importance of supporting children's psycho-emotional state during such long-term treatment. Experiences related to the onset of illness and changes in usual life have a significant negative impact on children's psycho-emotional state and significantly reduce their treatment adherence.
As shown by the experience of psychologists in resource rooms opened at two phthisiopulmonology centers, Hibuki therapy (soft hugging toy) is a very effective method for children treating tuberculosis.
Hugs are one of the most important and accessible things that can calm a child. The hugging toy is a unique therapeutic toy that helps overcome trauma, cope with pain and feel protection. Therefore, a fundraiser was initiated to provide resource rooms with such toys for use by Hibuki therapy specialists in working with children. It is extremely important to constantly support children being treated for tuberculosis!
This project involves purchasing soft hugging toys for Hibuki therapy use by resource room psychologists in phthisiopulmonology centers, which will be used for children's psychological relief.
Children are our future, let's protect them!
