Smart Library: Web 2.0

In today's digital world, there is a decline in students' interest in reading and school libraries. Today students live in an environment of information overload, but do not always know how to select, analyze and use it. Gadgets and entertainment content displace books, which negatively affects the development of reading culture, critical thinking and imagination.
Given the relevance of this problem, which is quite common, and our educational institution is no exception, we see its solution in creating and implementing the project "Smart Library: Web 2.0".
The project involves transforming a traditional school library into a modern multifunctional information and cultural hub that combines reading, digital resources, interactive activities and development of students' key competencies.
As part of the project implementation, we plan to carry out a qualitative renovation of the library space and approaches to working with students. The library will become an open interactive environment that combines traditional reading with digital capabilities and creative activities.
Thanks to the project implementation, positive changes are expected: students' interest in reading and learning will grow through the use of modern formats (interactive, media, project activities); library attendance and student engagement will increase; critical thinking, information work and media literacy skills will be formed; the library will become a space for communication, self-development and implementation of student initiatives; the overall level of learning motivation and reading culture in the institution will increase.
