Educational hub for self-preparation and distance learning for students from low-income, large families and IDPs, orphans, children with special educational needs

An educational hub for self-preparation for classes has been created at Kropyvnytskyi Agricultural Professional College in the library premises for students from low-income, large families and IDPs, orphans, children with special educational needs.
Since the college has 9 children from low-income families, 15 IDP students, 10 orphans, 6 people with special educational needs, and the college dormitory provides shelter for 48 IDPs, premises are provided for 2 relocated educational institutions:
Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University
Separated Structural Unit "Novokakhovka Professional College of Tavria State Agrotechnological University named after Dmytro Motornyi"
This created a problem of equipment and digital media shortage for learning.
Goal: equip workplaces (laptops), help IDP children, children from low-income and large families, provide proper conditions for preparation for face-to-face and distance classes according to modern requirements of education digitalization under martial law.
Task: provide sufficient workplaces through participation in grants and programs by the initiative group to meet the needs for technical support of educational activities of the most vulnerable social groups of students and IDPs - dormitory residents.
Short-term results - providing technical support to IDP students, students from low-income and large families.
Long-term perspective - with sufficient workplaces, create computer security courses for IDPs in our neighborhood, IDP dormitory residents, elderly people and college students needing social protection.
