UPD 2.0:

Due to the impossibility of project implementation at this time, with the author's and team's consent, the entire collected amount of 65,443 UAH has been redirected to the project Save Hearing - Save Life. We will definitely relaunch the project and resume fundraising after complete victory over mordor. Thank you to all benefactors for every contribution!

UPD:

Due to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, with the author's consent, part of the collected project funds, namely 5,000 hryvnias, were redirected to the project Aid to Ukrainian Armed Forces during wartime.

These funds are directed to support the army and city defense. Thank you to all benefactors who joined.

Fundraising continues, we hope to implement the project after Victory:)

About 300,000 people live in Kotovsky village. It's the largest district in Odesa and is located at a considerable distance from other parts of the city. Educational institutions here don't have all the opportunities for development and socialization of children with autism, or are commercial, which many families can't afford.

Institutions where one can engage in creative activities, learning, games and physical exercises are often located in different places. This is inconvenient and time-consuming. Also, not everyone can attend such establishments: children with complex developmental disorders, sleep disorders, behavioral disorders are very often deprived of many opportunities.

A survey was conducted among parents of children with autism and other conditions living in Kotovsky village regarding their children's needs for quality services.

72% of respondents want their children to attend creative workshops, while 59.1% of parents need quality care for their children in a loyal environment.

Therefore, we, parents of children with mental disorders, decided to open an inclusive environment where children both with and without autism can regularly learn, communicate, play, develop physically and engage in creative activities — all in one place.

The space will consist of three rooms:

The first room will be adapted for children's activities and games. Here children can: play, communicate, learn, act out fairy tales, etc.

The second room will house a sensory room — a specially organized environment consisting of many different types of stimulators that affect organs of sight, hearing, smell, tactile and vestibular receptors. This helps children develop physically and relax psychologically.

The third room — is a creative workshop with a large table, shelves and various tools so children can draw, sculpt, sew-construct, do carpentry and make many other interesting things.

Why is this project so important?

By supporting this project you primarily support children who need comprehensive help. Thanks to the project they will gain better opportunities for development, communication and joint play. The initiative will also significantly ease the lives of such children's parents by creating comfortable conditions for children's interaction outside the family circle.

All children, regardless of their degree of needed support, will be able to visit the space, play and learn together.
