Ready to Meet

Our project "Ready to Meet" is an adaptive educational program for civilians that helps better understand experiences and needs of military after return.
Full-scale invasion clearly divided Ukrainians into those who fight and those in the rear. Some do everything possible to drive Russians out of Ukraine, others maintain economy. Everyone's work is needed and important. But these are different experiences affecting mutual understanding.
Facing many questions: how will guys overcome psychological problems here in civilian environment where nobody knows how it was for them, what happened to them, consequences of wounds, losses, experiences etc. How can they, "broken" by war, "break" themselves again?
That's when the idea of creating "Ready to Meet" program emerged.
We teach civilians how to communicate properly and create safe environment, how to support them in grief, how to show respect and gratitude for changes that are hard to measure but impossible not to notice.
Because the most powerful revenge against enemy is to be the best! And we all, without exception, must prepare now to meet our heroes at all life levels.
Program includes interactive sessions, practical exercises, and support from specialists experienced in working with military.
With this initiative, we help solve numerous problems faced by civilians. Among them:
1.Features of experiencing war events by servicemen.
2. Challenges faced by families to which military return.
3. Typical stress reactions
4. Experiencing losses in war conditions.
5. Experiencing health and physical ability loss.
6. Preserving mental health.
7. Overcoming veterans' social isolation.
We strive for every participant to feel confident in how to help and create support at every stage of life after our defenders' return. How to gently and painlessly strengthen and build healthy relationships in society.
