Energy modernization of Kubey community boilers

10 communities with a total population of 138.2 thousand were created in Bolhrad district. Over 13 thousand children study in educational institutions of these communities.
Under conditions of power supply disconnection due to russian federation's armed aggression, alternative power sources (generators) of various capacities are used in Bolhrad district to ensure sustainable educational process according to needs, fuel reserves for generator operation are created. In case of electricity disconnection, generators are also used to ensure heating system operation.
General secondary education institutions of Bolhrad district are equipped with 107 generators of appropriate capacity and can provide schools with power supply for comfortable in-person learning of children.
In Kubey village, 2 educational institutions operate to ensure the educational process:
- Kubey lyceum with primary school and gymnasium №1 of Kubey village council; - Kubey lyceum with primary school and gymnasium named after academician Oleksandr Teodorov-Balan №2 of Kubey village council
354 children study in these educational institutions. These educational institutions are provided with heating from boiler houses where electrical equipment power exceeds 30 kW excluding starting current, which is very expensive when using generators.
To reduce costs and ensure sustainable operation of these institutions, energy modernization measures of boiler house electrical equipment are necessary, which will reduce starting current and operating power. These measures will reduce costs and ensure institutions' operation in in-person mode in case of power supply absence.
Representatives of Bolhrad district state administration together with the service company analyzed possible energy modernization measures.
