Safe space of Velikorublivsky CCD

Air raid alert is a sound that has become part of every Ukrainian's daily life. For some, it's just minutes of tension, while for others — long hours of anxiety when you need to quickly find a safe place for yourself and loved ones.
In Velikorublivska community, like in many Ukrainian communities, during air raids residents are forced to go down to shelters. However, a significant part of such premises doesn't meet modern safety and accessibility requirements.
The greatest difficulties in these conditions are experienced by elderly people, people with disabilities, parents with small children and other low-mobility groups. Lack of proper conditions, accessible environment and basic comfort creates additional risks and complicates staying during alerts.
That's why creating an inclusive, safe and accessible shelter is not just an urgent need, but a vital solution for the entire community. Implementation of this project will ensure equal access to protection, preserve residents' health and lives, and increase community emergency preparedness.
