We are the public organization "Mankivka Cultural Front" at CE "Mankivka Settlement Center of Culture and Leisure". Our team believes that culture is not just concerts on stage, but daily life, communication and development.

🏗️ Our experience: From walls to content
We're not starting from scratch. Our team has already proven capable of turning ideas into reality even with limited resources. Thanks to support from local sponsors and caring residents, we've already taken the first, hardest step: completely renovated the Cultural Center foyer. We abandoned the "Soviet" style in favor of modern loft and vibrant design. Now our foyer is called "Art-Space", and it already looks stylish. We didn't leave the walls empty — today youth already gather here to play board games and socialize. This became the first step that proved: demand for such a place in Mankivka is huge.
✨ Project story: Why is this important now?
Imagine an evening in Mankivka. Where can a teenager or young person go to simply socialize, work on a laptop or play board games? There aren't many options: either the street or noisy cafes.
We decided to go to the platform to transform our cozy corner into a full-fledged hub-transformer. We want "Art-Space" to become a professionally equipped place where a game of "Monopoly" can easily turn into a media literacy lecture, and evening coffee — into creating a youth startup. We're inspired by how youth take care of this space, and we want to give them more opportunities.
We're inspired by the energy of our graduates and students who return home on weekends. We want them to feel: there's a place "for our own" in their native town. A place where you won't be asked to leave if you didn't buy anything. A place that's safe, warm and always has fast internet. This is our response to time's challenges — to create an island of normalcy and development amid anxious everyday life.
🎯 What do we want to change?
Implementing this project will change our community's face:
- Overcoming isolation: Youth will move from gadgets to real communication.
- Informal education: "Art-Space" will become a platform for trainings, language clubs and workshops.
- IDP integration: For young people who found shelter in Mankivka, this is the fastest way to integrate into a new community through shared leisure.
- Cultural breakthrough: We'll prove that a settlement cultural center can be a modern hub that works 24/7 for people.
- Cultural diversity: New equipment will allow film screenings, acoustic evenings, project presentations and regular relaxation.
