Educational program for teenagers and youth with complex developmental disabilities "School for Everyone"

We believe that quality of life is more important than diagnoses in medical records, which is why for 10 years we have been creating and implementing projects for socialization and education of children, teenagers and youth with complex developmental disabilities.

Our mission - we provide comprehensive systematic support to people with complex developmental disabilities and their families through educational programs, social support, information campaigns, psychological support, we work with the state at different levels so that in the future teenagers and youth with disabilities have rights and opportunities for education at the legislative level.
During our existence, the following long-term programs and projects were created and remain active today:
- psychological support program "Psychological Hub"
- Project "Pedagogical-psychological online coaching for parents/guardians raising children, teenagers and youth with complex developmental disabilities"
- scientific-practical activity support program "Together". The program includes a lecture hall for specialists, development of "Inclusion" course for NUS and project "Supporting teachers working with children with disabilities"
- Day occupation and independence development program "Training Apartment".
- inclusive summer camp for 100 children "Space Camp: space for all".
In Ukraine, children with complex developmental disabilities (when a child has several disabilities simultaneously: cerebral palsy, visual impairments, autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy, etc.) have almost no opportunity to study fully. Many don't leave home for weeks and have no opportunity to communicate with peers. Constant rehabilitation, children's health problems exhaust families financially. They cannot afford to pay for education.
Our mission is to create a real online school environment for teenagers and young people with disabilities for learning and development, promoting their growth in communication and social activity. That's why we created a unique educational online program for Ukraine for teenagers and youth with complex developmental disabilities "School for Everyone".
Because the right to education is the right of every child without exception.
We prioritize individual development, alternative communication methods, self-awareness and empowerment. Through a comprehensive curriculum covering academic subjects, art therapy methods, language skills improvement, multifaceted learning experiences such as audiobooks and yoga, environmental awareness activities, cultural and psychological sessions, art classes, we strive to unlock each student's potential, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose in society.
The program has been implemented since 2017 during the academic year (September to May). We raise funds for 1 month of education for 96 students with disabilities - 432,000 UAH.
