"Workshop of Changes" - supporting women and children in new life conditions. Grow. Act. Live.

Public Organization "South Together"
NGO "South Together" implements social and humanitarian projects aimed at supporting IDPs, local communities and vulnerable groups in southern regions of Ukraine. The organization has experience in coordinating volunteers, collaborating with charitable foundations and implementing projects with transparent reporting and measurable social impact.
We decided to submit the "Workshop of Changes" project to this platform because we believe in the power of collective action and support that emerge here — among people who care about the fate of the Ukrainian nation. For us, this platform is a space of trust where social initiatives receive not only resources but also a voice.
The "Workshop of Changes" project addresses an acute problem women and children face today: emotional exhaustion, loss of sense of security, self-realization and support in conditions of war and constant instability. Many are left alone with their fears, responsibilities and traumas. Our project creates a safe space where women and children can recover, learn, communicate, discover inner strength and resources for change.
We are inspired by real experience of communicating with women and children from war-affected communities — their resilience, but also fatigue often invisible from outside. We see how even simple joint activities, creativity and support can restore faith in oneself and the future. This motivates us to continue acting.
"Workshop of Changes" is important for the community because it's not only about help here and now, but about forming stronger, more cohesive people who feel supported and able to influence their community's life. When women recover and find support, children, families and the entire community benefit. This is an investment in human resilience, mutual trust and the future.
The social impact of "Workshop of Changes" project lies in creating sustainable positive changes for women, children and the community as a whole.
As a result of project implementation, the following changes are expected:
- Psycho-emotional recovery of women and children. Participants will receive a safe space to reduce stress, anxiety and emotional tension through creative, educational and supportive activities.
- Strengthening women's confidence and inner resources. Women will be able to restore sense of self-worth, find new skills, self-realization tools and faith in their own capabilities.
- Improved interaction between children and parents. Joint activities will promote strengthening emotional bonds in families, improving communication and mutual understanding.
- Social cohesion of the community. The project will unite women and children, reducing feelings of isolation, forming an environment of mutual support and trust.
Formation of active position and resilience. Participants will gain motivation and skills to help them be more engaged in community life and initiate positive changes around them.
Thus, "Workshop of Changes" will contribute not only to individual recovery, but also to long-term strengthening of community social resilience through supporting women and children as key agents of change.
