Report from MarketStar Bulgaria partners on assistance to Ukraine
Generators for the Mykolaiv Region
On December 29—with air defense buzzing overheard—the Netpeak Group and “My City” team delivered 25 generators to communities across Mykolaiv Region. In just 18 days, we sourced, purchased, and delivered vital equipment that provided warmth and power during constant shelling.
An additional three generators were sent to the Bessarabian villages of Vladychen, Kamenka, and Krynychne—ensuring residents remain connected during blackouts. Another three went to Odesa Region for ongoing humanitarian aid.
This effort received coverage from local and national press—helping raise awareness and gather further support.

Project Goals:
Our goal is to help elderly and seriously ill people survive in frontline cities. This category of people, during the war, has found themselves on the brink of death, as they cannot survive without the help of others.

Help for Maksym, 14, with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Maksym was trapped under occupation with his father until May 9, when they safely relocated to Saltivka, Kharkiv. As a Duchenne muscular dystrophy patient, his life expectancy is typically around 20—but with the right support, he can live into his 30s or 40s. Public assistance was insufficient, so we stepped in.
- Thanks to the grant, Maksym now has: An electric bed with a built-in toilet; A transport wheelchair; A pressure-relief mattress and essential supplies
- The total grant amount was452 621 ₴So far, 13 beneficiaries have received such essential equipment.
