About the program
This program is designed to strengthen the institutional capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) whose goal is to develop democracy in their community. We help organizations set up systematic internal work, build the foundation of management policies and grow a community of donors through crowdfunding. This way you can show donors real support and people’s trust, and your organization becomes stronger and more financially resilient.
This program is for you if:
- you are a local CSO working on developing democracy in your community;
- you have been operating for at least 2 years and have already implemented your own projects;
- you have a permanent team;
- you want to strengthen your organizational capacity and are ready to create and implement your own development plan;
- you are ready to work independently but need mentoring support and direction;
- you want to build a community of people around you who support your cause.

- 04 4 lectures tailored to the needs of participating organizations to strengthen institutional capacity
- 05 Personal work with organizations’ teams

Participation in the City of Changes program is free of charge and competitive, as the number of places is limited.
The program is designed for 20 teams of 2–3 participants each. Your project team may have more than three members, but only 2 to 3 people can take part in the educational program.
To take part, fill in the application on the program page by October 16. The My City team then reviews the applications and selects the organizations for which the program will be the most useful. Selection runs from October 16 to 25, and we will notify each organization individually, using the contacts given in the application, by October 25.
The program is fully online, so organizations from any region of Ukraine can join. It runs from October 2026 to January 2027.
It is a crowdfunding campaign in which an organization raises money not for a single project or event but for its own activity and development. The funds can go to what helps the organization work steadily and plan ahead: the team, internal processes, communication, capacity building.
