About the crowdfunding platform My City

What Drives Everything We Do

  • WeBelieve inAction Over Words

Talk is cheap — results matter. While others debate and plan, we're already out there making things happen. Every day, we help project creators turn their "what if" moments into "we did it" victories.

  • Real People,Real Stories

Behind every campaign is someone with a dream worth fighting for. We're not just moving money around — we're amplifying voices, supporting neighbors, and building the kind of community where everyone has a shot at making their mark.

  • EveryGreatMovementStartsWith One Person

You don't need permission to change the world. Whether it's fixing a local playground or launching a social movement, every big win started with someone brave enough to take the first step. We're here to help that step become a sprint.

  • Transparencyandtrust

No hidden fees, no fine print surprises. Every dollar donated, every decision made, every outcome achieved — it's all there for you to see. Because when people trust the platform, amazing things happen.

Our Story

2015
"My City" was launched as part of Netpeak Group (now FRACTAL).
We began with our first crowdfunding campaigns to improve urban infrastructure and support cultural initiatives.
2016

We launched GladPet, a project focused on adoption and support for homeless pets.

2017
Our team helped create 4City — a community space in Odesa for like-minded changemakers.
We also launched Odesa Pub, a feel-good media platform that shares positive news.
2018
We hosted the first Home Me Fest — an adoption festival for animals in Odesa.
We were honored with a regional award in the national competition “Charitable Ukraine” in the category of “Charity in the Social Sphere.

2021
We launched operations in Kharkiv with the support of Abdurakhman Shaikhalov, founder of Evolution Business Park.

We also began working in Dnipro in partnership with Work.ua — though this collaboration was paused due to the full-scale invasion and our shift to supporting military needs.

2022
Our focus shifted to humanitarian aid and social projects supporting communities affected by war. We prioritized local initiatives in frontline regions.

We joined forces in launching Dopovidai, a fundraising platform to support the Ukrainian army.

Together with MarketStar Bulgaria, we provided aid for people with disabilities, humanitarian supplies, and generators.

Thanks to our partners at Crossroads of Cultures,” we helped equip 10 shelters and supported 52 schools for safe learning environments — made possible by a charity concert in Tallinn for Ukraine’s Independence Day, which raised €150,000.

We launched “Together We’re Stronger” program, distributing 1,825,000 UAH in support to:

  • Promprylad.Renovation
  • RescueNow
  • Medical battalion “Hospitallers”
  • Starenki Foundation
  • Serhiy Prytula Foundation
  • Zemlyachky Foundation
2023
We held two project pitch events in Kharkiv, where 11 initiatives received co-financing totaling 633,496 UAH.

We launched an educational direction, which included the program “City of Change” and an educational crowdfunding series on Diia.Osvita featuring comedian Anton Tymoshenko.

2024
We introduced two learning programs — “CrowdStarter” and “Kharkiv Support Fund”.

We also announced a new fundraising tool called “My Dream”.

And we supported the growth of independent media in Odesa — More Lyudey (Sea of People).

2025
Together with Kernel, we ran a training program for communities across 5 regions — My Community: Together with Kernel — where participants raised 673,779 UAH via crowdfunding, and 33 projects received additional funding from Kernel.

We also launched a new community support program in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

And this story isn’t over — we’re still writing it, together.
